Many people have asked me how I feel about the terrible tragedy that has happened to the United States from the actions of terrorists. When madmen do unspeakable things to innocent people, it is easy to descend into darkness ourselves. I believe that we need to stay positive and strong for all the people who lost their lives or loved ones and had to be put through this time of sorrow. As just one person, we each might feel that there is nothing we can do. But as many people together, we can support each other and get through this.

I have always turned to music for consolation, and have found that it can give me healing and relief from pain in the midst of dark despair. Music is for our souls and it fills the emptiness and sorrow that we might feel. Much inspirational music is being played in the media right now and many people are lifting their voices together in songs that are both spiritual and patriotic. I hope that anyone who needs healing and comfort can hear music that will help them in this difficult time.

We live in dangerous times - but you can't let fear rule your life. It is my hope that the people of this country where my family and I make our home can become more united than ever, both in their sorrow and in their strength. We should all count our blessings and never take this precious gift of life for granted.
